We believe the farm should be enjoyed by everyone. Situated just a short 200m distance from The Big Tin Barn, the cattle shed is easily reachable via a smooth concrete track, ensuring a bump-free journey for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. We have also installed a wheelchair-friendly kissing gate, so accessing the barn is hassle-free.

Meet the Highland Herd

We are a proud working farm, and our Highland Cattle are truly at the heart of what we do. Currently, we have 12 breeding cows who you will often find with their calves close by. These gentle giants help us shape the landscape of our farm, playing a vital role in our commitment to restoring and protecting natural habitats.

Our cattle are incredibly friendly and enjoy seeing new faces while they keep warm and dry during the colder months. It is a fantastic sensory experience for guests of all ages to see the animals up close in a safe, accessible environment.

Tractors, Machinery and Friendly Faces

For those who love engineering and farming, there is plenty more to see! Keep an eye out for the farm machinery and tractors operating around the site. You might even spot Pops or Billie hard at work on the farm—be sure to give them a wave if you do!

Practical Facilities for Muddy Wheels

Don’t worry about bringing a bit of the farm back indoors with you. We have equipped the games barn with an outdoor tap and hose, making it easy to wash off any muddy wheels, boots, or pushchairs after your visit.
