Creating an Accessible & Comfortable Space

Creating an accessible room that was beautiful, tranquil but also comfortable, safe and supportive. We opted for two Opera profiling beds, as they offered just this with their easy to use hand operated, electric height and position controls. Both beds are slightly different as we hope to cater for as many different care needs for our guests as possible.

Holiday Let with Opera Profiling Beds for Enhanced Care

One bed features a pressure relieving, airflow mattress to enhance comfort and three part split side rails which can be raised and lowered independently to help prevent falls, provide a grab handle or act as a handy place to hook the handset control. These side rails have optional cushion pads available on request.

Adjustable Beds Designed for Accessibility

The other bed lowers close to the floor to help access and swinging legs into the bed. They both raise up to a height that will meet a carers waist height and both have their own adjustable, twin top over bed table. The tables can be adjusted and are suitable to wheelchair users too.

Connecting with Nature & Comfort

Both beds look out onto you beautifully landscaped gardens. Large bi-folding doors can be opened, filling the room with natural light and enabling guests to soak up the glorious morning sunshine, hear the bird song and enjoy the colour and aroma from the surrounding flower and herb gardens. If it’s a calmer, quieter and darker environment you need, the automated blinds can be operated from bed, enabling the user to adjust light levels to meet their requirements independently.
