The Big Tin Barn Overview
A fully accessible holiday home based in the countryside. Fully accessible ground floor area, with further living areas upstairs for further guests. Doors open to patio with garden furniture and barbecue area, with a section with further covered sitting in a patio area.
The Kitchen
Designed by leading accessible kitchen designed, Adam Thomas, our innovative and stylish kitchen aims to support independent living for guests with disability needs. We have combined functionality and style to provide the freedom you need to enjoy cooking and socialising in our kitchen space.
Complete with waterfall edge work tops to limit spillages, oven with slide and hide doors, pull out heat proof tables and an electric rise and fall kitchen work top.
Bedroom 1 with ensuite bathroom
- 2 signature comfort plus profiling beds, one 3 ft, one 3.6ft wide with adjustable sides and an airflow pressure mattress system.

- Large wall mounted TV
- Doors open directly to patio
- Hoist system which accesses all areas of the room and transfers to the ensuite wet room

Superb Open living area
A fully accessible ground floor area, with lots of space and decorated to a high standard throughout. There is also access to patio area and outdoor accessible areas.
Upstairs there is a second large sitting room with balcony and a further bedroom, which can be hired at extra cost with one king size and one single bed. Double doors open to Juliette balcony.
There is Wi-Fi throughout the property.
Downstairs bathroom
The downstairs bathroom includes a walk-in shower, heated towel rails, toilet, wash basin and mirror with light.
A Lento Multi-Positional Chair
A multi-positional care chair which can be adjusted in many different ways to help find an individual position for the occupant to give comfort and support. The care chair is on wheels, making it manoeuvrable around the Barn.

Modern bathroom with large walk in shower and a double sink and heated towel rail.
Lounge
huge sitting room/lounge area with double doors opening onto balcony overlooking the courtyard and surrounding meadows. Smart TV provided.
Local Amenities
The Big Tin Barn is located within walking distance( 0.7 miles) of the closest village. Here you will find a couple of pubs and a post office.

Important Info
The Changeover day is Friday only. Bookings can only start on Fridays with a minimum of 3 nights stay unless by arrangement with owner.
Check in time: 4pm
Check out time: 11am
Costs
The cost is £250* a night, this includes the whole of the ground floor, sleeps 6, plus use of the upstairs large sitting room with balcony.
*Price increase to £275 during peak season of June, July and August.
- Access to large upstairs bedroom and bathroom sleeping 3 can be hired for additional £75 a night.
- There will be a returnable damage deposit of £200. The balance is required two weeks before arrival date.
A 30% deposit via bank transfer will be required on booking to secure your dates.
We charge a flat rate cleaning fee of £80 per booking.
Payment will need to be made within 24 hours of your booking request.
